What will Games Time Kent Greeters do?
Games Time Kent Greeters will offer a WORLD CLASS WELCOME to everyone they engage with across Kent by undertaking three key roles;
- To promote all the great things to see and do in Kent, the Garden of England. Through the provision of information and guidance Games Time Kent Greeters will;
- encourage visitors to stay longer and spend more time in Kent
- consider making future visits to our county
- recommend the Garden of England to friends and family as a great place to spend time.
2. Encourage residents;
- to enjoy the fantastic tourism assets of Kent
- spend more money in our county
- encourage their friends and family to visit the Garden of England
3. To provide 2012 Games information and answer Games related questions about;
- 2012 Games sporting events
- Paralympic Road Cycling at Brands Hatch
- Transport to the 2012 Games venues and throughout Kent
We want volunteers from all walks of life, young people who are 18 and older, retired, those in employment and also those looking for work , from different ethnic backgrounds and all walks of life.
