Step Two
Your application will be reviewed by personnel from Visit Kent and you will be invited to attend a selection event taking place across Kent during May 2012. This will enable us to tell you more about the role and for you to find out whether it's right for you.
Step Three
We will contact you to let you know if you have been selected. If we think you could make a great Greeter, we will issue a Volunteer Contract and you will be asked to sign a Disclosure Form.
Step Four
We will keep you informed as to the dates set for training which will take place in June.
This volunteering opportunity is a great chance to improve your skills. All Games Time Kent Greeters will receive training comprising of:
- Welcome to Kent Day Course
- Welcome to Kent Online module
- Orientation and site visits
When you apply to be a volunteer you agree to completing the above training. Your time commitment will be two days in addition to your actual volunteering sessions. You will receive your volunteering roster in early July.
Step Five
Take part in the greatest show on earth and join us in welcoming the world to Kent between the 17 July and 9 September 2012!
