Tourism Development Framework

The aim of this strategy is to identify the type of actions and products that Kent needs over the next 20 years in terms of new tourism, cultural, leisure and sports facilities, in order to support the county's transformational regeneration agenda.  This is the first phase of a broader tourism strategy which will include marketing and branding, skills and research.

Tourism is worth over £2.5 billion to the local economy and supports over 50,000 jobs so it is vital that we take the lead in ensuring that the area remains pre-eminent as a competitive tourism destination as well as a great place to live and work for our local residents and businesses.
