Fair Pricing and Practice Charter
2012 will be a wonderful year for Kent and it's important that we allow visitors, travel intermediaries and media to readily identify UK tourism producers and suppliers that have made a firm commitment to reasonable and fair trading terms during the year 2012.
Visit Kent has worked in partnership with Visit Britain to produce a countywide fair pricing and practice charter specifically focusing on the Olympics period. Businesses are encouraged to sign up to the Charter to demonstrate their commitment to fair pricing. Visit Kent has also produced its own Charter that will be used and promoted in the lead up to and during other major events in the county, such as The Open golf championship.
Signatories undertake to uphold and safeguard the good name of the Charters by honouring its commitments and by championing the professional standards that they set out. Businesses signing up to the Charters will be entitled to display the 'Committed to Fair Pricing' logo at the top of this page on all their literature and website. Their 'membership' will also be reflected on the Visit Kent website.
