Volume and Value of Tourism
The Cambridge Economic Impact Model is an industry respected tool for measuring the economic impact of tourism in a given area. Knowing the volume and value of tourism is an essential part of developing relevant policies for managing tourism.
This exercise was conducted in 2010 in Kent for 2009 data and revealed that 57 million visitors had an economic impact of £3.2 billion in Kent and supported an estimated 63,000 jobs. View the full Kent report and District breakdowns
