The Pride Tourism Awards have been created to recognise the importance of the industry's people and to reward individuals in the tourism, hospitality and leisure industries who provide outstanding service to 
their customers. The welcome customers receive is an integral part of their holiday experience and those visitors that receive a really warm and friendly welcome are more likely to return to Kent again and again. We want residents as well as visitors to tell us why the people they encounter should be nominated for an award.
2010 Awards
Have you met a friendly and helpful receptionist, waitress, taxi driver or bar person? Nominate a tourism, hospitality or leisure employee for a Pride Tourism Award and you could win £50 in gift vouchers. Currently the scheme is running in Ashford & Tenterden, Shepway and Thanet.

We are looking for individuals who always make sure their customers receive a warm welcome and who consistently deliver excellent customer service. The scheme is open to anyone who works within the tourism and hospitality industry and includes employees within hotels, guest houses, bars, train stations, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions etc. Those people that make a special effort will be recognised and rewarded at a ceremony next year.
We would like you to help us by displaying the poster and postcards below and encouraging your customers to nominate your staff for an award. The process is easy, customers just complete and return one of the freepost nomination cards or they can nominate online.
