Visit Kent wins destination marketing award

Visit Kent has been recognised as the Destination Marketing Organisation of the Year at the 2010 UKinbound Convention held in York this week.

The award was presented by Rita Beckwith, Chair of UKinbound, at a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony held at Carlton Towers on Thursday evening. Runner-up in this award category was Visit London.

UKinbound is a trade association founded in 1977 to represent the interests of the UK’s inbound tourism businesses. It is one of the leading trade associations in the UK with around 250 members, and the only association to focus exclusively on the vital export earning inbound sector.
