Go To Places Kent Tourism Awards 2018 logo

Launched in 2017, the Kent Tourism Awards, in association with Go To Places, is a consumer facing, annual awards scheme for tourism businesses in Kent.

The scheme is all about motivating tourism businesses to create compelling experiences and adopt best practice. It rewards exceptional standards of customer service and outstanding overall visitor experiences.

Following an initial round of judging by an expert panel, the winners are decided by a consumer vote which is supported by an extensive digital marketing campaign. Eligible winners are able to enter the national Awards for Excellence scheme.

Why enter?

  • Winners will get a chance to be profiled at the national Awards for Excellence operated by Visit England (subject to their eligibility against Visit England criteria).
  • Shortlisted businesses will benefit from a dedicated Visit Kent social media and PR campaign that will be used to encourage public voting.
  • Award winners and finalists gain a competitive edge through recognition of their commitment to excellence and quality standards.
  • Entry is free to all tourism business entrants.

How to enter?

The 2018 Kent Tourism Awards are now closed.

The public voting is open until the 4th November. To see the 2018 finalists and to cast your vote: 2018 Kent Tourism Awards Finalists
