UKSPF and grant funding

With the Government providing funding to local authorities through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and the Rural Economy Prosperity Fund (REPF), there are a number of business support and grant fund programmes running across the county. We’ve pulled together those that are available for businesses in the visitor economy and put them in one place so they are easier to find. Some of the programmes are only available to those in specific districts, while others are county wide. We will continue to add more programmes to this list as they become available. Canterbury District

Canterbury District Business Growth Programme

The programme is provided by Canterbury City Council, delivered by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and is designed for owner-managers and social enterprises to explore and develop high growth approaches and improve business resilience.

- West Kent Business Grant Scheme
The grant scheme provides assistance to West Kent businesses that want to invest in their businesses to support growth and/or reducing carbon footprint. If you are thinking about an upgrade to your website or replacing your current refrigeration then this grant scheme will be able to help you. This grant scheme launches on 15 September 2023.

Folkestone & Hythe District

Rural England Prosperity Fund

As a result of central government funding, Folkestone & Hythe District Council has £350,000 available to provide capital grant funding for both businesses and community projects in areas classed as Rural locations.
