Your organisation's purpose:

Growing year-round ecological produce using circular waste economics. Building soil health, biodiversity and a community around this localised system. Facilitating learning experiences, workshops and overnight adventures in the Kent Downs AONB.

What is your impact initiative?

Inspiring change to a broken food system through reconnection and well-being.

The impact your initiative has had:

Many volunteers and visitors have learnt how to grow food while building soil health.

Reducing the need for the supermarket and support of local produce and its producers.

Many go away feeling inspired to grow for themselves and understand the personal and social impact of doing that.

Have you observed any direct benefits to your business or organisation as a result of the initiative?

An increased awareness of the work of Rebel Farmer brings greater custom, visitors and volunteers wanting to be involved.

Have you observed any benefits to your visitors as a result of the initiative?

Many have gone on to change their habits, seek to grow for themselves and even purchased land to replicate some of our activities. Knowledge, inspiration and confidence towards positive change.
